How it's Done

Welcome to Slablifters

Slablifting or concrete raising is a cost-effective alternative to replacing concrete. Concrete raising lifts sidewalks, streets, ramps, patios, pool decks, driveways, foundations, parking lots, garage floors, industrial factory/warehouse floors and basements - it’s highly effective in commercial, municipal, and residential situations. In the industry this process is known as slablifting or slab-lifting, slabjacking (slab jacking), mudjacking and mud jacking and is the process of raising sunken concrete.

Concrete raising can usually be done for a fraction of the cost of pouring new concrete, however, the savings may be even greater since the costs of demolition, removal and landscaping are eliminated.

Slablifting, slabjacking or mudjacking can be completed quickly and economically with minimal disruption. A patio can be raised in the morning and be ready to use that very night!

Benefits of lifting concrete slabs that need to be raised:
  • They can be walked on almost immediately or driven on after 24 hours.
  • Adjacent landscaping and plantings are unaffected.
  • Does not change the colours or aesthetics of existing concrete.
  • Clean and quick process.
  • Works great for remote and hard to reach areas.
  • Reduces time needed for required repairs.
  • Controlled lifting to desired grades.
  • Very cost effective.
